DENVER – Myopia is increasing in prevalence globally as well as in the U.S., Christopher Wolfe, OD, said here at Optometry’s Meeting. Those patients most likely to progress are those with a family history, Asian background, and near esophoria and high accommodative lag, he said.

Treatment options include multifocal contacts with center distance and 2.00-D add, orthokeratology, and atropine.
