VIDEO: Young OD loves ‘where optometry is going’

DENVER - Jenna Bailey, OD, who specializes in ocular disease, shared her outlook on the profession during a reception for young optometrists here at Optometry’s Meeting.

"I love that optometry is changing to more of a medical fiel,d and it is exciting that we can pick up on early signs at a relatively early state of the disease. I love where optometry is going," she said.

She is considering opening a dry eye or vision therapy center.
