Opternative Inc. announced it has partnered with Liingo Eyewear to provide an online vision prescription service.

This partnership with Liingo Eyewear, which was recently acquired by 1 800 CONTACTS, will provide patients with an affordable, accurate and convenient online prescription renewal option, according to a press release from Opternative.

Douglas Harris, Liingo Eyewear’s CEO, explained in the press release that the partnership of the two companies will simplify the process of buying eyeglasses.

"This is an exciting time at Opternative as we continue to expand access to low cost, accurate and safe online prescriptions for eyeglasses," Brent Rasmussen, CEO of Opternative, said in the release. "We are thrilled to add Liingo Eyewear to our growing list of partners and we look forward to working with them to support the online prescription needs of their customers."
