Maui Jim launches optical collection

Sun wear manufacturer Maui Jim has introduced a line of frames for ophthalmic lenses.

The Maui Jim Optical Collection combines structure and style while balancing aesthetics, fit and integrity, the company says on its website.

The company said it examined the finest details in the design, engineering and manufacturing of its frames, resulting in a premium, comfortable and elegant product. The shapes, designs and patterns are inspired by ancient Hawaiian artisans, and the colors are borrowed from the natural brilliance of sea glass.

Collections include acetate, clip-on, metals, specialty metals, rimless and thin injected nylon and are available through Maui Jim’s retail partners.
