Colonial Life launches vision, dental plans

Colonial Life, a worksite benefits insurance company, launched Colonial Life and Dental, which will allow employers to offer vision and dental benefits to workers.
To effectively round out its product portfolio, Colonial Life utilized its sister company Starmount Life Insurance, a vision and dental carrier, according to a press release from Colonial.
“Dental and vision benefits help maintain and promote overall health and are fundamental parts of any competitive employee benefits package,” Colonial Life CEO and President Tim Arnold said in the release. “This new offering is just one example of how our employees deliver on our commitments to protect America’s workers and their families.”
The company’s benefit services and education, innovative enrollment technology and personal service support more than 90,000 businesses and organizations and 3.8 million of America’s workers and their families, according to the release.
As of March 26, Colonial Life Dental and Vision is offered in 40 states.
