SECO to feature half-day business program

SECO will host MedPRO360, an educational program providing practice leaders the tools they need to run an efficient, profitable business, March 3, 2018, in Atlanta.

Launched successfully in 2017, MedPRO360 is a half-day business management program designed to bring together health care professionals from all specialties and areas of practice to learn ways to boost overall profitability, according to a press release from SECO International.

MedPRO360 will be part of the SECO conference, which runs from Feb. 28 to March 4.

MedPRO360’s speaker line-up features professionals who take a creative and innovate approach to service, including: Jenn Lim, CEO and CHO (chief happiness officer) of Delivering Happiness; Donald Miller, CEO of StoryBrand; Vern Yip, of TLC's Trading Spaces; and Marc Haskelsom, president and CEO of Compliancy Group.

“At MedPRO360, attendees will have the unique opportunity to strengthen their business acumen, giving them insights and tools to ensure that their practice is running efficiently and effectively,” Ted McElroy, OD, immediate past president of SECO, said in the release.

He said the program will enable optometric professionals, “to get out of their everyday routine so they can focus on building a successful business.”

SECO continuing education will be geared to: optometrists, ophthalmic professionals, optometric students/residents, opticians, paraoptometrics, ophthalmic technicians and optical administrators, according to the release. The conference will offer more than 250 courses and nearly 400 hours of education, presented by more than 100 specialists and experts.
