Bausch + Lomb has launched an updated formula of its nutritional supplement Ocuvite Adult 50+ to now include highly concentrated fish oils, making the tablets smaller and easier to swallow.

“We’re continually looking at ways to enhance our existing product portfolio to better meet the needs of our customers and their patients,” Joseph Gordon, president, consumer health & vision care, Bausch + Lomb, said in a press release from the company. “As the flagship product within the product line, the new Ocuvite Adult 50+ Formula Minigels are just one example. We are pleased to offer consumers who may have difficulty swallowing larger vitamin supplements a reduced size, easier-to-swallow minigel to help optimize their eye wellness.”

The Ocuvite formula includes nutrients such as lutein, zeaxanthin and omega-3.

Bausch + Lomb is also launching a new consumer campaign to promote the new product and educate consumers on the importance of eye nutrition on maintaining eye health.
