Steve Heft has joined ABB Optical as senior vice president of operations.
Heft will provide strategic direction for ABB Optical Group’s distribution centers by utilizing his experience and leadership to achieve the company’s goals, according to a press release from the company.
He has been tasked with streamlining operatives for enhanced profitability, productivity and efficiency and aligning all aspects of operations to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, according to the release.
Heft has gained more than 20 years of experience in supply chain and operational leadership.
In his prior roles, he directed procurement, distribution, manufacturing, engineering, quality and design organizations in Europe, Latin America and North America.
