Hilco Vision announced the acquisition of Jonathan Paul Eyewear, following acquisitions in Germany in 2015 and “most recently in the Benelux region as part of a concerted effort by the company to deliver on its promise to be a global partner to its global customers,” according to a press release from Hilco.

“We are extremely excited about the acquisition of such an innovative brand, recognized for its originality, functionality and design. I am confident that together with designer Paul Stables we can enable it to reach its full potential internationally as we leverage our increasingly global footprint,” Ross Brownlee, Hilco Vision CEO said in the release.

Stables, founder and designer of Jon Paul Eyewear, who will stay on with Hilco, commented in the release, “The Fitovers category is growing fast, and we are well placed to lead that growth leveraging Hilco’s distribution reach and consistently high quality standards.”
