AMO launches eye vitamin, lid scrub

LAS VEGAS – Abbott Medical Optics announced here at Vision Expo West its launch of Blink Eye Vitamins and Blink Lid Wipes.
According to AMO’s manager of professional education and communication, Jaimie Morgan, Abbott is licensing the liquid gel vitamin under the Blink brand.
“The liquid form is more easily metabolized than pills and is used once a day,” she told Primary Care Optometry News.
With Blink Lid Wipes, which contain chamomile, no rinsing is necessary, she said.
The lid wipes are available at retail, and the vitamins will be sold in doctor’s offices, Morgan said. – by Nancy Hemphill, ELS
