BOSTON – It is important to know what is in a bottle of vitamins, not just what the bottle says or claims to do, Jeffry Gerson, OD, said here at Optometry’s Meeting.

“It’s an important topic to bring up; there are so many conditions in eye care where good nutrition can be beneficial,” he added.
