SEATTLE – While a study found that patients younger than 40 years spent more time on digital devices and used more of them throughout the day, all patients using these devices complained about dry eye symptoms at the end of the day, regardless of age, according to Jennifer S. Harthan, OD, FAAO, here at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology meeting.
Over 600 patients completed OSDI speed questionnaires, as well as ten additional questions about their digital device use.
