NEW YORK – Here at the Vision Expo East Ocular Surface Disease and Wellness Symposium, which was co-sponsored by Primary Care Optometry News, PCON Editorial Board member Marc R. Bloomenstein, OD, FAAO, urged clinicians to be proactive in preparing the ocular surface for surgery well in advance of the procedure.
“The things that we do in our practice before our patients ever get to a surgical center can have a tremendous amount of impact after the surgery is performed,” he said.
