NEW YORK – “The technology and platform of the SVOne autorefractor allows us to push the envelope in patient care with its telemedicine capabilities,” Aaron Lech, OD, FAAO, told Primary Care Optometry News here at Vision Expo East.
Lech said he uses the portable unit from Smart Vision Labs in local nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities and also uses it in rural India on patients “who are underserved and need to be seen but don’t have access to professional care.”
