ATLANTA – CooperVision’s inaugural class of 10 honorees was chosen from a nationwide search for eye care practices that thrive, in an effort to recognize visionary, innovative and even unexpected aspects of care delivery that best serve patients and elevate the profession, according to a press release from the company.
Michele Andrews, OD, director of professional affairs, North America, CooperVision, told Primary Care Optometry News in an interview here at SECO, “We wanted to showcase what people are doing in their practices – what works for them and what others can learn.”
She said they found that the staff tenure of these practices tends to be high, and the doctors gave their staffs much of the credit for the success of the practice.
This year’s honorees are:
Advanced Eye Care Professionals, P.C. – Oak Lawn, Ill.
Coan Eye Care – Ocoee, Fla.
