Katena Products announced its acquisition of Sensor Medical Technology, in a press release.

Sensor Medical Technology specializes in developing and manufacturing high quality single-use and reusable diagnostic and therapeutic lenses used by optometrists and ophthalmologists in the U.S. and globally.

Katena Products provides specialty surgical and consumable ophthalmic products to more than 110 countries worldwide, according to the press release.

“This is the perfect marriage of high quality instruments and optics, and the combination will provide doctors with a broad range of solutions for their patient procedures,” Greg Heacock, founder and chief executive officer of Sensor, said in the release.
