CooperVision increases access to Clariti 1 day lenses

CooperVision Inc. has expanded the availability of its Clariti 1 day contact lenses in the U.S., according to a press release from the company.
According to CooperVision, patients can now order the lenses directly from the company.
“Clariti 1 day lenses combine the benefits of a proven silicone hydrogel material with the benefits of the daily disposable modality,” in sphere, toric and multifocal options, Bob Ferrigno, president, North America, CooperVision, said in the release. “Now, eye care practitioners have more options than ever for moving a greater number of patients into 1-day lenses, better meeting everyone’s needs. The Clariti 1 day family enables practitioners to retain and acquire more patients, effectively fitting more wearers and improving profitability for their practices.”
CooperVision also reported that the availability of fitting sets as well as lenses through authorized distributors will continue to grow.
