TearScience announced it entered an exclusive partnership agreement with Cowealth Medical to distribute and service its dry eye solution in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.

The TearScience in-office dry eye solution includes the LipiView ocular surface interferometer and LipiFlow thermal pulsation system along with an implementation plan, marketing tools and post-installation procedure support to equip eye care professionals with a complete dry eye clinical and business franchise, the company announced in a press release.

They stated that an independent market research firm has defined the China dry eye patient population as 178 million and growing over the next decade.
