Phonetic Eyewear introduced a line of eye wear to reduce digital eye strain, according to a press release.

Through the use of a proprietary lens coating, Phonetic Eyewear deflects a portion of the unwanted blue light and violet light emitted by digital devices, according to the company. The eye wear is available in plano and plus-powered lenses.

The company cited a recent report from the Vision Council stating that “nearly 70% of adults experience some form of digital eye strain due to prolonged use of electronic devices.”
