Primary Care Optometry News is pleased to announce the addition of three members to its Editorial Board.

Kerry Giedd, OD, MS, FAAO, is cofounder and partner of Eola Eyes, an independent group practice located in Orlando, Fla. Eola Eyes provides full-scope optometric care and conducts clinical research trials for many vision care companies.

Giedd graduated from the Ohio State University College of Optometry and trained at the Cleveland Veterans’ Administration Hospital and a large cataract and refractive surgery clinic. Learn more about Giedd and her practice at www.eolaeyes.com.

Kelly Kerksick, OD, founded Midwest Vision Care in Columbia, Ill., a primary care optometric practice, after graduating from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis.

She lectures internationally on contact lens science, practice management, ocular surface disease and clinical communication. Kerksick is also the senior director of professional services for Vision Source, a national organization of optometrists in private practice, and a charter member of Women of Vision. Ryan Parker, OD, was elected as president of the American Optometric Student Association while attending the Oklahoma College of Optometry at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. Three years after graduation, he founded Parker Family Vision Center, where he practices full-scope optometry, including performing PRK.

Parker also specializes in sports vision training, serving as the cofounder and president of iSport Vision Performance, a national sports vision training company.
