EZContacts.com announced in a press release that the company is developing an app for use with Google Glass, Google’s up-and-coming eye wear that will contain a tiny computer positioned above the right eye.
The app, called EZexam, is designed to test visual acuity with the tumbling E chart, according to the company’s press release. Users will indicate whether the E is pointing up, down, left or right to advance through the levels. Once all levels are completed, users receive a score of their visual acuity.
Because Google Glass contains the computer in the right eye only, the EZexam will test vision in only that eye as well.
“EZexam is not meant to replace a regular eye exam with your doctor, but it may help you pass the time pleasurably in the waiting room,” EZContacts.com said in its press release.
