Inspire Pharmaceuticals launched InspiredICare, an interactive educational website for eye care professionals. The website provides information on ocular diseases including allergic conjunctivitis, bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis and dry eye. Each disease state has a library, conference room, auditorium and exam room, which feature reference materials, presentations and posters.
The library contains an ocular surface disease photo library, active links to relevant societies and conferences as well as active links to optometry and ophthalmology trade journals. The library also contains downloads to ocular surface disease slide decks for information on treatment rationales, prevalence, pathophysiology and a clinical presentation showing photos and symptoms of each disease state.
The conference room contains the profiles and biographies of specialists in each disease state, as well as their perspectives on the particular disease. The auditorium includes presentations available for download that explain each ocular surface disease state and contain specific information on the signs, symptoms, gender relation and prevalence.
Finally, the exam room has clinical tools that can be downloaded by physicians including customizable patient treatment forms and tips for diagnosing and evaluating common ocular diseases.
