JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Vision Care Institute announced the launch of a 1-day course offering practicing optometrists premier education to aid in the achievement of higher levels of success in their practices, according to a company press release. Participants in the course will receive an update on the latest in contact lens research, training on new technologies, and a review of emerging trends and best practices, said the release.

The course is available at no cost and on a first come, first served basis, the release said. Upcoming course dates include: May 12 to 13, May 19 to 20, June 2 to 3, June 9 to 10 and September 22 to 23. Contact theinstitute@vcius.jnj.com to register.
