NEW YORK — Vistakon announced here at International Vision Expo that the American Optometric Association awarded the Acuvue Advance Plus brand contact lenses the AOA Seal of Acceptance for meeting the AOA specifications for ultraviolet absorbing contact lenses. The lenses block more than 90% of UVA rays and 99% of UVB rays that reach the lens.

This is the sixth contact lens in the Acuvue brand family to receive the Seal of Acceptance.
