“With three different presbyopic lens options available, optometrists need to stay abreast on their optimal use,” Dr. Bloomenstein said. “My course will discuss clinical pearls to help the OD navigate through presbyopic IOLs.”

Dr. Bloomenstein will cover patient selection for the Crystalens (Bausch & Lomb, Tampa, Fla.), the ReStor (Alcon, Fort Worth, Texas) and the ReZoom (AMO, Santa Ana, Calif.) lenses.

He will discuss preoperative clinical pearls, possible postoperative complications and patient counseling for realistic expectations.

This free course, which includes breakfast, will be held Oct. 25, 7 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. in Grand Ballroom F in the Anaheim Marriott. It is pending approval for 1 hour by the Council on Optometric Practitioner Education.
