SEVILLE, Spain — In this Healio Video Perspective, Anat Loewenstein, MD, MHA, and Baruch D. Kuppermann, MD, PhD, highlight topics discussed at the Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology.

“We’ve had a lot of interesting debates with great participation all around,” Kuppermann said.

Basic research, emerging therapies, futuristic approaches and pragmatic management issues were addressed from different perspectives in the fields of retina, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology and uveitis.

“We have a lot of new ideas, new technologies, new methods of therapy and monitoring of our patients,” Loewenstein said.
