Patient lifestyle, profession and hobbies should all be considered when it comes to presbyopia-correcting IOLs. In addition, empathy and trust as well as transparency about costs and benefits can help physicians select the best solution for each individual case.
“We under-promise in order to have happier patients at the end, and bear in mind, it is not for everyone. Premium lenses are for some people who are suitable for them,” Diamanti said.
