VIDEO: Refractive breakthroughs include optimization of existing technologies
ATHENS, Greece — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ESCRS winter meeting, Ioannis Pallikaris, MD, PhD, discusses his pioneering contributions to refractive surgery.
Pallikaris addressed his past achievements and new projects aimed at improving the outcomes of well-established technologies because “still there are issues we face day by day,” he said.
These technologies include the fixOflex ring (EyePCR) for peripheral capsule reconstruction and IOL centration and custom SMILE, a new method of constructing customized lenticules.
