VIDEO: Surgeon opts for full range of vision in pediatric cataract patient
ORLANDO — In this Healio Video Perspective from Telling It Like It Is, William B. Trattler, MD, discusses a complex case of pediatric cataract surgery.
Despite the risk for a myopic shift in the future, Trattler explained why he decided to give the patient full range of vision with the Tecnis Odyssey IOL (Johnson & Johnson Vision).
“For a 12-year-old, being able to give her that full range of vision now to see distance and read would be our best option,” Trattler said.
