VIDEO: Positive data reported on OCS-05 in acute optic neuritis
KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2025, Riad Sherif, MD, CEO of Oculis, discusses data on OCS-05 for the treatment of acute optic neuritis.
“The main goal of OCS-05 is to prevent retinal ganglion cells from dying and to have a neuroprotective effect,” he said. “We are extremely happy to see that OCS-05 showed improvement in anatomy and showed improvement in function in [low contrast visual acuity].”
Sherif also reviewed Oculis’ portfolio, including OCS-01 in diabetic macular edema and OCS-02 in dry eye disease.
