VIDEO: Silverstone device plays key role in sickle cell disease imaging
KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Retina 2025, Adrienne W. Scott, MD, of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, discusses her research in sickle cell disease and sickle cell retinopathy.
Scott shared that the Silverstone ultra-widefield imaging device (Optos) can provide simultaneous images of the macula and the retinal periphery, making it a key research tool for sickle cell disease.
