VIDEO: Ocular aesthetic complications rare but require fast action
KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2025, Steven G. Yoelin, MD, discusses preparing for complications as an ophthalmologist who focuses on aesthetics.
Complications are rare with injectables, but they require fast reactions and solid treatment plans, according to Yoelin.
“I do think ophthalmologists are uniquely qualified just because of our intimate understanding of the anatomy around the eye and our attention to detail,” he said.
