NEW YORK — In this presentation from OSN New York, Uday Devgan, MD, of Devgan Eye Surgery, uses surgical footage to demonstrate how to resolve difficult cases of intumescent white cataracts.

In addition to sharing pearls for improving surgical techniques and avoiding capsulorrhexis runout, Devgan also highlighted tools for streamlining the procedure, including the ZeptoLink device (Centricity Vision).

“I’ve found that there is no absolute sure way of doing this, but the good news is, with a white cataract, the before and after is so dramatic that patients are pretty happy anyway,” he said.
