VIDEO: Surgeon touts benefits of VisuMax 800 femtosecond laser
CHICAGO — In this Healio Video Perspective from the AAO meeting, John F. Doane, MD, FACS, of Discover Vision Centers discusses the benefits that the VisuMax 800 femtosecond laser offers patients, surgeons and staff.
According to Doane, the VisuMax 800 (Carl Zeiss Meditec) is specifically beneficial for SMILE.
“Yes, it’s a fast laser; yes, there is great throughput; but it makes the surgery easier,” he said.
