BARCELONA, Spain — In this Healio Video Perspective from the Euretina congress, Matteo Forlini, MD, discusses a Vit-Buckle Society session on surgical challenges.

Forlini highlighted the remarkable progress made in the field of vitreoretinal surgery. Minimally invasive systems, wide-angle viewing systems, intraoperative OCT and other new tools allow surgeons to deal successfully with cases that were previously difficult to treat, including pediatric cases.

“Nowadays the retina field is very exciting with a lot of new horizons, new devices and new results for the patients,” Forlini said.
