CHICAGO — In this Healio Video Perspective from the AAO meeting, George O. Waring IV, MD, FACS, presents 9-month clinical data on the Teneo laser from Bausch + Lomb for the treatment of myopia and myopic astigmatism with LASIK.

Waring said the laser met all safety and efficacy endpoints in a study comprising 333 eyes.

“The chance of achieving 20/16 or better after LASIK in our trial was three times higher than previous to their LASIK in the corrected state,” Waring said. “That is to say, over 50% of patients had 20/16 vision or better uncorrected at 9 months.”
