BARCELONA, Spain — In this Healio Video Perspective from the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meeting, Francesco Carones, MD, shares his clinical experience with the Tecnis PureSee IOL.

This nondiffractive extended depth of focus lens from Johnson & Johnson Vision provides spectacle independence with negligible compromise in quality of vision and no dysphotopsia, he said.

Carones has performed 160 implantations with both the non-toric and toric lens models.

“In my series, almost 88% of the patients are never wearing spectacles,” Carones said. “Most importantly, these patients do not report night vision problems even when asked.”
