VIDEO: enVista Envy trifocal lens offers improved range of vision
CHICAGO — In this Healio Video Perspective from the AAO meeting, Adam K. Muzychuk, MD, FRCSC, discusses the defocus curve performance of the enVista Envy trifocal IOL and the enVista monofocal IOL, both from Bausch + Lomb.
Results from a multicenter study showed that, on the defocus curve, the trifocal IOL had approximately 4 D of continuous range compared with 2 D for the monofocal lens.
“This means that patients with the trifocal IOL had significantly more range,” he said.
