CARLSBAD, Calif. — In this Healio Video Perspective from the Women in Ophthalmology Summer Symposium, Diane M. Hilal-Campo, MD, discusses Twenty/Twenty Beauty, the first ophthalmologist-formulated eye makeup line.
Hilal-Campo said she wanted a makeup line that was easier on the eye and did not cause dry eye issues. Twenty/Twenty Beauty has several products available, including mascara, which was the most requested product from her patients.
“They wanted a mascara that was nonirritating,” Hilal-Campo said. “We get emails every day thanking us for producing a mascara that is wearable, comfortable and does not cause raccoon eyes.”
