VIDEO: Ophthalmologists may benefit from acupuncture
CARLSBAD, Calif. — In this Healio Video Perspective from the Women in Ophthalmology Summer Symposium, Tara A. McCannel, MD, PhD, of UCLA Health in Los Angeles explains the health benefits that acupuncture may offer ophthalmologists.
“Acupuncture, unlike Western medicine, ties together the mind, body and spirit,” McCannel said. “In all of health care, what goes on in our minds affects our health and our bodies.”
