VIDEO: Save early, understand retirement account taxes when building wealth
CARLSBAD, Calif. — In this Healio Video Perspective from the Women in Ophthalmology Summer Symposium, Carole C. Foos, CPA, of OJM Group discusses saving and investing pearls for ophthalmologists.
“As you’re planning for retirement, it’s important to understand how your wealth is going to be taxed,” she said.
In addition to saving at a younger age, Foos encourages ophthalmologists to use resources such as a Roth 401(k) or a Roth IRA to build a “tax-free bucket” for the future.
