BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Shamik Bafna, MD, discusses the VisuMax 800 femtosecond laser for the treatment of myopia with or without astigmatism.
Bafna describes the VisuMax 800 with SMILE pro software (Carl Zeiss Meditec) as “a cutting-edge technology that’s going to really change the refractive marketplace.”
“I’ve had the experience of utilizing this technology with many of my patients, and I can state that it actually has given me a lot of comfort and confidence in treating patients with refractive error,” he said.
