VIDEO: OmniVu IOL system shows good visual acuity, stability at 1 year

BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, George O. Waring IV, MD, FACS, discusses 1-year data for the modular shape-changing OmniVu IOL system from Atia Vision.

The multicenter prospective study included 27 eyes and demonstrated a robust full range of visual acuity as well as positive stability results, according to Waring.

“This is a monofocal IOL system that is modular to mimic the accommodative state of the human eye,” he said. “The qualitative results and the quantitative results were both very promising.”
