BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Jason E. Brenner, MD, shares how the EVO ICL has positively affected his practice by offering a treatment option for a wide range of candidates.
Brenner said that the choice between treatment with the ICL (STAAR Surgical) or LASIK is based on the what the patient wants rather than diopter cutoffs.
“We always feel that getting ICL should be as easy as getting LASIK,” he said. “Having the confidence in the procedure has allowed us to offer it to a wider range of patients.”
