VIDEO: Anterion platform a ‘game changer’ in imaging

BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Mitchell W. Dul, OD, discusses Heidelberg Engineering’s Anterion platform, a multimodal technology for anterior segment imaging that is cleared for clinical use.
According to Dul, a principal investigator of the Anterion trial, the platform is a game changer and provides an intuitive setup that is user friendly for technicians.
“On the doctor’s side, the rapid image acquisition time enables you to take multiple measurements, both qualitatively and quantitatively, so that you can assess the present disease that you are interested in,” he said. “You can also look at change over time in a very, very precise way.”
