BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from the ASCRS meeting, Steven C. Schallhorn, MD, of Zeiss gives an overview of the Artevo 750 and Artevo 850 visualization platforms.
He also discusses the benefits of the VisuMax 800 femtosecond laser with SMILE pro software, which was recently approved by the FDA.
“This femtosecond laser is faster, it’s smaller, and it has much more capability,” Schallhorn said. “For instance, the surgical time is greatly reduced, and that adds to patient comfort and reduces surgeon anxiety.”
