BOSTON — In this Healio Video Perspective from Eyecelerator@ASCRS, Warren Foust of STAAR Surgical highlights the continued growth of the EVO ICL and the benefits it offers refractive patients and practices.
According to Foust, STAAR recently reported a 20% growth rate for the lens in the U.S. and has crossed 3 million units globally.
“Although the first ICL was implanted 30 years ago, most of the ICLs that I’m referring to are EVO ICLs, just demonstrating the rapid growth that we’ve experienced in lens-based refractive surgery,” he said.
