WAILEA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2024, Cynthia Matossian, MD, FACS, previews an upcoming video series on the role of refraction among cataract surgeons.
“What can a busy cataract surgeon glean from doing his or her own refraction as opposed to delegating to somebody else?” she said.
Matossian explains how it helps them identify the level of disease, visual potential, macular issues and other problems and then select the best IOL for each patient.
