WAILEA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2024, Andrew G. Lee, MD, discusses neuro-ophthalmic mimics of thyroid eye disease.
“Even though the most common cause of eye disease in a thyroid patient is, of course, thyroid eye disease, and lid retraction and proptosis are the typical findings, there are some red flags that could signal that there is a mimic of thyroid eye disease present,” he said.
