VIDEO: Centricity Vision launches ZeptoLink IOL positioning system
SAN FRANCISCO — In this Healio Video Perspective from Eyecelerator@AAO, Rob Thornhill of Centricity Vision announces the launch of the ZeptoLink IOL positioning system.
According to Thornhill, the Zepto technology can be combined with any phacoemulsification system, thereby saving time and space in the operating room, and streamlining cataract surgery.
“Surgeons like the intuitive use of the phaco foot pedal that allows them to precisely control suction, energy delivery and irrigation,” he said. “Universally, they recognize the time savings associated with ZeptoLink, leading to greater workflow efficiency, especially when compared to a laser.”
It is a cost-effective alternative when considering advanced technology IOL cataract surgery, he said.
